Installing the Intercom plug

Yetto is a help desk built to connect and communicate with other systems across your company. While Intercom is also a help desk, we view it as just another system that might exist within your company. For teams already using Intercom, Yetto will integrate with it the same way we integrate with other tools, extending your ability to collaborate with your colleagues.

The Intercom plug allows you to use Yetto as the connector to other internal teams while keeping Intercom as your connection to customers. For teams already using Intercom, this integration gives you all the power of Yetto without having to make a change to one of your core pieces of infrastructure.

Installing the Intercom plug

  • Go to your inbox (https://web.yetto.app/orgs/[organization]/inboxes/[inbox]).
  • Go to the "Settings" tab in the inbox navigation bar, then click on "Plugs" (https://web.yetto.app/orgs/[organization]/inboxes/[inbox]/settings/plugs).
  • Click on the "Install" button in the Intercom row to install the Intercom plug.
  • When you're ready to get started, click "Next."
  • Click "Authorize Yetto" to authorize Yetto to acceess your Intercom account. This connects you to Intercom as your Intercom user, not as your organization or as an application.
  • Click "Allow" on the Intercom authorization page.

That's it! You're all set up and ready to use Yetto and Intercom together.
